Mac DeMarco everybody.

I love this man. He’s so into what he’s doing, like he’s just having fun and trying to produce his own music. It’d be so cool to go to his show.

note to self: music this week

Naomi Punk and My Bloody Valentine are similar, but both good. I feel like they would fit on to a playlist with Broken Social Scene. I think that Mac Demarco would fit on that playlist too (Of course he would; he’s doing a show with Naomi Punk at the Opolis), which is good because I really just want a mix CD that has Mac Demarco on it.

The Black Lips are really good too. I think that if I put them onto a playlist, then I could also put a The Clash song on too, like Stay Free or something from London Calling. I could also have Waaves or Ty Segall on that playlist with them. Waaves can really remind me of Animal Collective sometimes though. So maybe they should be on a different playlist that is more ambient indie rock like that than this noise, garage rock playlist I have in mind.

Music is so fluid. My music library has expanded so much within the past two years. Thank you, Spotify, Last.fm, and myself.~

It is not sufficient to see and to know the beauty of a work. We must feel and be affected by it.

No Help For That by Charles Bukowski

we will know it

we will know it

there is a place in the heart that

we will wait

You swallowed everything, like distance. Like the sea, like time. In you everything sank.
